We are looking for a skilled Forklift Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in fixing and troubleshooting both gas and electric forklifts. This role involves maintaining and repairing a fleet of 16 forklifts, including brands such as Yale and Hyster. Responsibilities
Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on gas and electric forklifts
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on a fleet of 16 forklifts (Yale and Hyster)
Conduct regular inspections to ensure forklifts are in optimal working condition
Replace or repair faulty parts and components
Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
Provide recommendations for improving equipment performance and longevity
Requirements:
Proven experience as a forklift mechanic or similar role
In-depth knowledge of gas and electric forklift repair and maintenance
Familiarity with Yale and Hyster forklift models
strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
Good communication and organizational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
