BAKERY - DONUT FINISHER

Donut Finisher

The Market in the Square is seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our Bakery department as a donut finisher.

Responsibilities:

  • Filling, glazing, icing, and decorating finished donuts

  • Stocking and cleaning donut case or other displays as needed

  • Assisting customers on the phone and in person

  • Maintaining clean, safe and sanitary bakery area and equipment

  • Ensuring stocking and rotation of all bakery products and supplies

  • May be required to utilize equipment, such as fryers, mixers, scales, slicers and wrappers

What We're Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a bakery is preferred

  • Strong customer service skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality

  • Flexibility to work early morning shifts, including weekends

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Outgoing, friendly, neat and professional

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent communication skills to ensure excellent customer service

Education and Work Experience:

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • Requirements:

  • Requires standing, walking, bending, and/or climbing throughout the entire workday

  • Repetitive arm and hand movements; bending, carrying, and lifting

  • Requires transferring product either horizontally or vertically of up to 50 pounds

  • Weekend, evening, and holiday work will be required; flexible hours
