What you’ll do as a Paralegal

  • Support corporate entity activities: completing corporate and/or governmental forms, tracking progress, updating parties involved and data sites

  • Aid in crucial projects: gathering and/or preparation of documents, obtaining necessary signatures, distribution of documents, and scanning, organizing and filing of documents throughout and at the end of the project

  • Assist with general corporate housekeeping matters: gathering and/or preparation of documents such as corporate resolutions, minutes, and consents, preparation of documents for signatures, and scanning, organizing and filing of documents

  • Contribute to Board of Director activities and meetings: gathering and/or preparation of documents, distributing, and filing documents needed for board and committee meetings

  • Assist with shareholder equity activity: prepare, distribute and organize equity related documents

  • Proof and edit documents

  • Assist with clerical duties and file organization tasks

  • Perform special projects and other related duties as assigned or requested

  • Collaborate with other members of the legal department as needed

What you’ll need

  • To be 18 years of age or older

  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company

  • Paralegal Certification required

  • 3-5 years of corporate legal experience with a publicly traded company preferred

  • Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills

  • Self-starter, reliable, professional, able to multi-task

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, DocuSign, Smartsheets & Google Suite

  • Willingness to support all members of the legal department personnel where needed

  • Must deliver high quality work product and can follow up and follow through

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills are necessary with the ability to interact professionally with executive personnel, attorneys, staff, and employees
