Position Summary
The IT Operations Manager is responsible for managing and mentoring the technical teams, evaluating the suitability of technologies for the organization's needs, developing strategic plans for technology adoption, and guiding the team in implementing solutions within Jet Aviation.
This role requires strong collaboration with other regional IT managers to drive a unified approach, implement standardized processes, and enhance IT Operations projects delivery across the organization. The ideal candidate will balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution to align IT operations with global business objectives.
This role is an office-based position, on a hybrid schedule, working at least four times weekly from the office. Our ideal candidate will work from our location in West Palm Beach, FL. The posted salary ranges will default to that of your regional location and will not include any premiums. The baseline range for this exempt position will be as follows: $110,000 - $152,000 plus a performance-based bonus up to 15% of annual salary.

Requirements

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience: 7+ years in IT operations, with 3 years in a leadership role overseeing global or multi-region IT operations.
Strong experience in managing cross-functional and geographically dispersed teams.
Excellent leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills.
Expertise in IT infrastructure, cloud computing (Azure/AWS), networking, and cybersecurity.
Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams across different cultures and time zones.
Experience with ITIL frameworks, ITSM tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.), and enterprise security standards.
Experience with SASE networking platform
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic, global environment.
Main Responsibilities
Lead and mentor IT operations team, ensuring high performance, key projects delivery, continuous development & innovation.
Head "global first” IT infrastructure strategy and collaborate with other regional managers towards global alignment.
Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and other internal teams to ensure smooth IT Operations service delivery.
Oversee and maintain IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, cloud services.
Coordinate and oversee major global technical changes on On-Premises & Cloud infrastructure
Act as expert escalation point for infrastructure and cloud incident.
Implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize operations.
Oversee the implementation and maintenance of security measures, ensuring firewalls, access controls, endpoint protection, and patch management are effectively managed by technical teams.
Advise and guide teams to adopt a cybersecurity mindset when designing and implementing projects, ensuring security considerations are integrated into the day-to-day activities.
Ensure monitoring tools provide accurate and meaningful metrics; regularly review and report these insights to upper management to support informed decision-making.
Ensure that Root Cause Analysis (RCA) is thoroughly documented after any incident or failure, identifying the underlying issues and creating actionable plans for future prevention.
