You will serve as a strategic partner to management on various human resource-related issues. In this role, you will advocate for employees and build strong partnerships across the HR function to provide valuable services that support the organization’s business objectives.

    What you’ll do as a Lead, Human Resources Business Partner

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with our leaders to learn the business and provide counsel and support on HR-related matters

  • Maintain positive relationships with employees to provide support including addressing questions, concerns, and support of development. Provide employee coaching as neede

  • Work closely with management and employees to build culture and morale, increasing productivity and retention

  • Work with leadership to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues

  • Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations

  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers with employee coaching/disciplinary actions, performance improvement, and career development

  • Identify training needs for business units and individual development needs

  • Collaborate with leaders to craft Employee Growth Plans and with the Learning & Development team to identify development opportunities

  • Analyze available data and employee feedback to develop solutions, programs, and policies

  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required

    What you’ll need

  • To be 18 years of age or older

  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company

  • 8 years+ of prior experience in Human Resources and knowledge of basic labor regulations and laws

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration or related field

  • Experienced with the resolution of complex employee relation issues, recruiting and talent acquisition, and benefits

  • Experience working across multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union relations, and performance management

  • Proficiency in MS Office and/or Google Suite

    Additional qualifications

  • SHRM Certification preferred

  • Experience supporting corporate functions, including Finance and Information Technology

  • Experience working with HRIS systems, including supporting the implementation and adoption of new processes and tools

    Physical abilities & exposures

  • Routinely: Engage in standard office activities such as standing, sitting, and using computers for extended periods

  • Occasionally: Travel domestically up to 10% to attend HR team meetings and occasionally support training
