ironwear Human Resources Manager in West Palm Beach, Florida

Ironwear is looking for a dynamic, energetic Human Resources Manager & Recruiter with a get it done attitude. What is an HR Manager? Responsibilities

HUMAN RESOURCES

  • Prepare and process semi-monthly payroll. Respond to employees with payroll related questions.

  • Manage company's benefits plans including 401(k); administer enrollments/changes, maintenance and billing.

  • Prepare and maintain employee files, assuring accuracy, compliance and confidentiality.

  • Manage onboarding employees, orientation and introduction of new employees.

  • Manage offboarding employees, termination letters and exit interviews.

  • Provide guidance to employees and advise managers and employees on employee relations issues and situations, including application of the firm’s policies.

  • Stay aware of regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, and applicable HR practices.

  • Prepare and delivery performance review documents in conjunction with managers.

  • Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.

  • Nurture a positive working environment.

  • Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.

  • Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.

  • Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by the President.

RECRUITING

  • Manage full life cycle recruiting process to meet staffing goals.

  • Source candidates via social networking and recruiting sites such as: LinkedIn, CareerBuilder, Indeed, Monster, Glassdoor, Zip Recruiter, Networking, internal and external referrals.

  • Maintain integrity of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)

  • Manage the interview and selection process.

  • Manage pre-employment process to include reference checking and offer letters.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree required.

  • Proven work experience as HR Manager or other HR professional.

  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases.

  • Excellent communicaton, listening, negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.

  • In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.

  • Strong computer knowledge including MS Office Suite and Internet/Job Board knowledge.

  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and management.

  • 2+ years' experience in recruiting.

  • 2+ years' experience payroll process
