Production Planner/Scheduler Location: Everett, WA Job ID: #68328 Pay Range: $34-40 Job Description: Looking for a high energy, dynamic team member for a Production Planner/Scheduler role to support sustaining business for the Cabin Integration value stream at the Everett, WA facility. The successful candidate will provide critical feedback to Operation Program Managers, Program Managers, and Supply Chain Procurement as it relates to manufacturing inhibitors; subsequently, informing the cross functional team of the impact to the supply plan (production schedule) supporting customer demand. The individual will champion cost avoidance, inventory optimization, proactive escalation to long lead constraints, production schedule reconciliation, and cross functional engagement to ensure the internal team is aligned in support of high customer service levels. This position will report to the site Senior Materials Manager and will interact and collaborate with the SIOP teams, IPT teams, Customer Service, Program Management, Quality, Supply Chain Procurement, Operations, Finance, Engineering, and Master Scheduler on a regular and frequent basis. The individual must embrace CORE, which is Collins Aerospace Operating System; additionally, champion lean manufacturing and excel in a team environment with high-performance expectations. This position primarily supports the Cabin Integration value stream at our Everett, WA facility; however, upon achieving best practices the candidate may roll out the benchmark to other value streams or be requested to change primary value stream supported as required. Key Responsibilities * Understand forecast / planned Customer demand. * Understand forecast / planned production supply. * Develop a cadence to investigating supply plan supportability in support of delivering Customer demand on time in-full. * Understand material available-to-promise analysis. * Understand production clear-to-build analysis. * Validate schedule to capacity. * Look after the work order release in line with Build requirement. * Perform supply plan reconciliation upon identification of manufacturing inhibitors. * Handle the escalation process when a deviation from plan occurs. * Be responsible for the engineering change introduction, product transfer support, and entry into service planning. * Work alongside; operators, production schedulers, materials and equipment to ensure on time in full delivery to all customers. * Communicate with our Program Managers, Operations Program Managers, and quality team as required to align on priorities. * Optimize planning parameters (PFEP) to achieve plan and inventory targets. * Review engineering changes and incorporate the production planning component to enable production Preferred qualifications: * Knowledge of SAP and Excel (look ups, pivot tables). * Great influencing skills. * Ability to work with multiple priorities which could be time sensitive. * You will be a keen problem solver and enjoy getting to the root cause of an issue and resolving it. * Experience in working in an environment which is looking to continually improve would be a great asset. * Ability to develop and champion an environment with high levels of Structure, Culture, and Predictability.
