Tameer, Inc. seeks a Project Management Specialist in West Hempstead, NY: Job duties include: Support HVAC project management at the commercial level by ensuring the project scope, timeline, and budget are monitored and supported throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct detailed market analysis and evaluate supplier capabilities to identify and recommend vendors based on cost, quality, reliability, and delivery timelines. Collaborate with stakeholders and clients to gather, document, and analyze project needs, requirements, and specifications, ensuring alignment with project goals. Assist in procurement risk identification and the development of risk mitigation strategies to ensure smooth supply chain operations for project success. Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, purchase orders, RFIs, submittals, and closeout inspections.Candidates must have at least a Bachelor’s degree in Project Management or a related field and at least two years of professional experience working in project procurement and coordination within the heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) industry. Must have at least two years of experience supporting procurement activities such as costing, processing payments, and resolving disputes with vendors and suppliers. Must have at least two years of experience evaluating suppliers based on a comprehensive set of criteria, including price, quality, availability, reliability, and distribution capabilities.
