Three Rivers provides psychiatric, detoxification/rehabilitation, and dual diagnosis treatment through inpatient services for adolescents & adults. Our outpatient services include a Partial Hospitalization Program offering psychiatric day treatment for adults and an Adult Chemical Dependency Intensive Outpatient Treatment Program offering day and evening sessions. Three Rivers Behavioral Health currently has a PRN Phlebotomist position available for morning hours (approximately 6am – 9am).

Responsibilities include: To perform venipuncture competently and expediently with a thorough knowledge of test requirements and handling of specimens. Obtains blood specimens by reviewing test orders, reading and asking for patient identifiers; complies with infection control standards while performing venipuncture, initialing, dating, and noting time of collection and proper processing of specimens for transport/pick-up.

Qualifications

The minimum requirements for this position are:

  • Certification in Phlebotomy

  • At least one year experience

  • Must possess thorough knowledge of test requirements and handling of specimens. Knowledge of department and personnel policies. Skill in oral and written communication, organizational skills, time management, and interpersonal skills.

  • Strongly prefer experience as a phlebotomist in the mental health field
