Description

Our client is looking for an Account Manager to join their team in the financial services industry, This is an on-site position in West Columbia, South Carolina. This role entails managing client relationships, identifying client needs, and providing solutions that align with their business objectives. The Account Manager will also be responsible for account growth and ensuring high levels of client satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with clients.

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to understand their needs and goals and propose solutions that align with their business objectives.

• Identify opportunities to grow accounts and generate new business within the financial services industry.

• Propose and implement strategies to expand product or service usage within accounts, up-selling and cross-selling additional products or services to existing clients.

• Ensure high levels of client satisfaction by addressing issues promptly and effectively.

• Gather and analyze client feedback to improve products, services, and processes, and report on account performance and client satisfaction metrics.

• Work closely with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer support, to deliver solutions that meet client needs.

• Participate in team meetings and contribute to overall business strategies.

• Stay up to date with industry trends and market conditions, conducting market research to identify potential opportunities and threats.

• Maintain accurate records of account activities, communications, and sales, preparing regular reports on account status, forecasts, and performance metrics.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Associates or Bachelors degree highly preferred

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Account Manager role in the professional services sector ideally

• Exceptional customer service skills, with a strong ability to resolve customer service issues promptly and professionally

• Proven track record of providing superior customer service to both internal and external stakeholders

• Proficiency in using office software, including email, spreadsheets, and databases

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of an organization

• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
