Aerotek Mechanical Assembler in West Bend, Wisconsin

Description:

For this role, the assemblers are building various doors (high speed automatic industrial doors) from the ground up. Each door is slightly customized for each customer. Assemblers work in teams in cells and use overhead cranes and lifting platforms to make it as easy as possible. Overhead cranes are at every cell, but you will still need to be able to lift 50lbs regularly.

Assemblers are cross trained in every area. You will start training with something basic so you can get familiar with the products, the culture/people, and company overall.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must be able to lift 50 plus pounds

  • Must have 6 months of experience using hand and power tools

  • Must be able to stand for entire shift

  • Must have basic math skills (fractions) and read from a ruler (we will test in the office for these)

  • Comfortable using hand/power tools
