The role you’ll contribute:
The Interventional Radiology Nursing Supervisor practices as a professional nurse within the limits of the Nurse Practice Act. Under general supervision the Radiology Director and Chief Nursing Officer, is a registered professional nurse who is responsible for providing and supervising direct and indirect total nursing care to age specific groups identified in the direct care responsibilities. Utilize the nursing process in achieving the goals of the department. Adhere to the AdventHealth rules and regulations of all applicable local, state and federal agencies and accrediting bodies. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all. Assists in promoting an atmosphere where the imaging staff can openly discuss process improvements. Support the organization's mission and vision.

Schedules and coordinates staffing for the department
Regularly and consistently reviews team member time and attendance; addresses time keeping issues in a timely manner; leads by example in use of electronic time keeping system. Assist in creating posts work schedule for employees
Assists with Radiologists, Vascular Surgeons, and other Physicians in the Imaging department
Monitors Departmental efficiency
Oversees QC (Quality Control), QA (Quality Assurance) programs and or accrediting functions
Qualifications
The expertise and experiences you’ll need to succeed:
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing upon hire
Two years or more of hospital/ICU nursing experience required upon hire
Must have experience in hemodynamic monitoring upon hire
Vascular Interventional knowledge and skills required upon hire
Proficiency in acute-care nursing required upon hire
American Heart Association BLS (Basic Life Support) certification or RQI (Resuscitation Quality Improvement) upon hire
American Heart Association ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification or RQI upon hire
American Heart Association PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Saving) certification or RQI upon hire
Current NIHSS certification upon hire
One hour of Hip and Knee Replacement/Spine Education within 6 months of hire date, then annually
One hour Stroke Education within 6 months of hire date, then annually
