SALARY RANGE

The starting salary range for this position is $93,600 - $117,000 (based on qualifications).  With tenure and strong performance in this role an employee may earn up to a maximum of $140,400 annualized.

Introductory Period: New employees holding regular positions must complete an introductory period of twelve months.

JOB POSTING

Overview The Energy Efficiency Advisor designs and manages energy efficiency, demand-side management, and demand response programs for residential and commercial customers within the District's service territory. Key responsibilities include day-to-day customer management, monitoring, and reporting of financial and energy savings, and contributing to the development of both short- and long-term energy efficiency and demand-side management plans.

This role involves developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, particularly within the political and environmental sectors. The Advisor also supports the District's renewable and alternative energy programs (e.g., SNAP) and other distributed energy initiatives.

Additionally, the position is responsible for managing CETA-related programs focused on implementing energy efficiency improvements in the homes of income-qualified customers.

Responsibilities

Manages vendors and contracts.

Provides exceptional customer service assisting customers in selecting appropriate technologies or activities, preparing incentive or rebate materials, and providing technical support.

Performs analysis and research to recommend effective District energy efficiency measures, technologies and activities designed to meet regulatory and District objectives.
