The AI Governance Third Party Management Manager plays a vital role in enhancing CVS Health’s AI risk management framework for third-party relationships. This position will be responsible for promoting effective risk governance practices, assisting in the maintenance and adoption of third-party risk policies and standards, streamlining and optimizing risk assessment processes, and identifying actionable insights to mitigate compliance and operational risks. The AI Governance Third Party Management Manager will play a key role in fostering collaboration, driving compliance, and continuously improving third-party risk management within the organization.
Primary r esponsibilities:
Support AI Governance Third-Party Risk Management lifecycle operations, ensuring execution and alignment with organizational strategic goals.
Communicate AI Governance requirements and collect evidence of compliance from Third Parties
EngageCVS Health AI Third Parties to communicate CVS Health AI Governance requirements and collect evidence of compliance.
Document CVS Health AI Third Parties engagement through assessment reports andrelevant documentation.
Manage Third Party Use Case Inventory to support CVS Health AI compliance and insights efforts.
Analyze data and generate actionable insights to identify and address third party compliance gaps, recommending appropriate corrective measures.
Identify opportunities to enhance operation efficiency through automation and optimization for AI governance third party management program
Design reporting and metrics frameworks for project management and executive-level reports to provide a strategic view of AI governance to key stakeholders.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, third-party risk management, security, privacy, to ensure alignment and collaboration on AI governance initiatives.
Actively engage the CVS Health Business Owners to promote understanding and adoption of AI policies and standards framework, fostering a culture of responsible and ethical AI use.
Keep abreast of relevant AI regulatory guidelines and ensure compliance of AI initiatives with evolving regulations.
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in AI program management and driving cross-functional collaborations.
3 years' experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, and PowerBI).
3 years' experience with AI technologies such as machine learning/deep learning, natural language processing (NLP), computer vision and Generative AI (specifically large language models).
2 years' experience with project management tools (e.g. Rally, Jira, Quickbase etc.)
Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of AI governance principles, including ethical considerations, regulatory compliance (e.g., EU AI Act and AI Executive Order) and risk management frameworks (e.g., NIST framework).
Strong understanding of AI risk testing and remediation for Machine learning and Generative AI solutions.
Experience in engaging and collaborating with a diverse stakeholder community.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
Preferred Qualifications
Proven experiences in Responsible AI, AI ethics, AI governance, compliance, or related roles.
Experience working with cloud, software and consulting AI third-parties.
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence change within complex organizational structures.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Education
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in computer science, data science, public health, or a related discipline. Master's degree preferred

Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$111,240.00 - $222,480.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
