Role Description The Director of EHS will assume leadership of the existing Environment Health & Safety organization while expanding its scope from supporting existing R&D and scale-up activities across multiple sites to also building and supporting the EHS function for manufacturing and construction. The preferred candidate will be comfortable transitioning processes from R&D to Manufacturing and should have a demonstrated track record of guiding EHS activities through first of its kind product scale-up and expansion of new manufacturing operations. The Director of EHS will be responsible for directing and implementing all safety initiatives for corporate compliance with occupational safety and health, waste management, environmental regulations, workers compensation, chemical management, industrial hygiene, fire and life safety and transportation requirements.

This is a key leadership position that will champion Form's culture of safety.

This role is based out of Form Factory 1 in Weirton, WV. Relocation assistance is available. What you'll do:

Works across Form's technical and operational teams to develop and strengthen a culture of safety.

Establishes site and/or department-specific strategies for identification of safety and environmental and health hazards associated with all business activities and guidelines for protection from those hazards.

Develops a multi-site departmental roadmap and staffing plan to support Form's manufacturing scale-up and expansion objectives.

Establishes departmental KPIs and maintains a company-wide EHS dashboard, with regular reporting to executive staff and site leadership.

Leads or participates in environmental permitting and other regulatory activities associated with expansion and new construction, manufacturing build-out and/or infrastructure projects.
