UBS Business Solutions US LLC is hiring a(n) Authorized Officer, Risk Control and CCAR/QRM Specialist (ref. Code 001297) in Weehawken, NJ.Duties: Be a team contributor in behavioral modeling of interest rate risk to support integrated balance sheet forecasting, earnings, hedging, and capital adequacy efforts. Remain up-to-date on regulatory requirements and follow financial markets and business trends on a frequent basis and analyze how those developments could impact the firms income, liquidity and funding position. Use regulatory capital stress testing and/or, fixed income capital markets instruments and derivatives, and relevant generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Responsible for the behavioral modeling of interest rate risk, and balance sheet/earnings forecasting including prepayment/attrition modeling, new volume origination models, non-maturity deposit modeling. Interface with stakeholders and internal partners in Treasury, ALM, and Finance to update NII model and engage in various analytical modeling initiatives such as model changes, model performance and confirmation tests and validation/re-validation submissions, model assumptions, and challenger models. Support multiple projects simultaneously and implement rapid changes in project direction. Ensure standardization and streamlining of processes and support of governance framework around the same. Support the establishment and maintenance of a QRM framework for the reporting processes. Execution of ad-hoc runs/projects and investigation and resolution of any identified issues. Ensure documentation of controlled processes.
