RES Tooling Coordinator in Weatherford, Texas

Summary: The Tooling Coordinator – T&D is responsible for safely and efficiently identifying, controlling, and maintaining tools required at T&D project sites which include BESS, Substations, T-lines, and Collection lines. This position will be based in Weatherford, TX.

Requirements:

  • Maintains tool and parts inventory to ensure support of efficient repair and maintenance services and to minimize site downtime.

  • Assesses inventory availability, approximates usage of parts and vendor delivery lead-time.

  • Responds to work requests in ToolWatch® to fulfill orders.

  • Coordinates tools certification for best utilization between vendors, field, and warehouse operations.

  • Records accurately all parts purchased including type, quantity, vendor and price.

  • Coordinates with projects to secure optimal pricing and availability with vendors.

  • Attends work regularly and punctually, as scheduled or expected.

  • Complies with Employee Handbook, Code of Conduct and Company Policies & Procedures.

  • Presents, supports, and leads-by-example with a safety and quality-oriented attitude.

  • Understands and complies with all Department of Transportation (DOT) rules and regulations as well as Standard Operating Procedures.

  • Assists with training of T&D site teams on use of ToolWatch® to place tooling orders.

  • Works with site teams to establish onsite tool tracking best practice.

  • Performs ad hoc job-related duties/functions and projects to support the Equipment Manager, which may include operating a RES vehicle or equipment.

Safety:

  • Follows safety and security procedures and determines appropriate action. Reports potentially unsafe conditions and uses materials and equipment properly.

Qualifications:

  • Highschool/GED is required.

  • 1+ years of experience in a similar or related role with basic construction, mechanical or electrical background is preferred

  • Requires strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to perform in fast paced environment. 

  • Attention to detail and record keeping are essential.

  • Ability to communicate through verbal and written correspondence with all levels of management, employees, and outside contacts. 

  • Basic computer skills as demonstrated by use of MS Excel and word processing applications. 

  • Experience with ToolWatch® or similar system preferred.

  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipmentpreferred.

  • Must be knowledgeable in construction tools and equipment; specific medium and high voltage experience strongly preferred. 

  • Ability to manage tight deadlines and handle multiple complex tasks in a fast-paced, changing environment.

  • Ability to work independently.

Anticipated base salary range: $21.15/hr. - $29.80/hr.

The final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. This position is bonus eligible.

Frequently exposed to extreme heat, noise and hazards in the working environment.
