Robert Half is currently working with a client looking for a supply chain specialist. The supply chain specialist will be responsible to manage orders to facilitate sales or production and keep track of goods and services. As part of the supply chain team, you will be placing orders for more inventory according to demand, signing off on shipments, and counting the number of available products. Are you a detailed oriented inventory professional with excellent math and communication skills? Then this is the position for you!
How you will make an impact
Working closely with the purchasing manager and inventory analyst
Ordering inventory from vendors and suppliers and securing shipment arrival times
Classifying and counting items
Control inventory by stocking and cataloging products
Identify and call out discrepancies between physical counts and computer records
Entering data into the system
Handling all inconsistencies in documents
Comparing costs from different vendors after obtaining estimates
