Job Title: Speech TherapistLocation: New Jersey 07470Job Type: Per DiemPosition Overview:Priority Group Services is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Speech Therapist to join our team. The Speech Therapist will be responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and providing therapeutic interventions for patients with speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders.Responsibilities:1. Patient Evaluation and Treatment: a)Conducting comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and swallowing disorders. b) Developing individualized treatment plans tailored to patients' specific needs and goals.2. Therapeutic Interventions: a)Administering therapy sessions to improve speech, language, articulation, and fluency. b) Implementing techniques and exercises to address swallowing difficulties.3. Progress Monitoring and Documentation: a) Monitoring patients' progress and modifying treatment plans based on ongoing assessments. b) Maintaining accurate and detailed documentation of therapy sessions and patient progress.4. Patient Education and Support: a) Educating patients and their families on therapy techniques, exercises, and strategies for continued improvement. b) Providing support and guidance to patients throughout the therapy process.5. Collaboration and Communication: a) Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, occupational therapists, and educators, to ensure holistic patient care. b) Communicating effectively with healthcare professionals and caregivers regarding patient progress and needs.Requirements:1.Valid New Jersey Licensure as a Speech Therapist is required.2. Compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations including those set by the New Jersey Department of Health, Office of Inspector General, Medicaid/Medicare, Corporate Compliance, PEOSHA, and Priority Group Services Policies and Procedures.3. Clinical experience in diagnosing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders.4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.5. Proficiency in utilizing specialized tools and techniques in speech therapy.Preferred Qualifications:1. Experience in a clinical setting.2. Familiarity with electronic medical records systems.3.
