JOB REQUIREMENTS: Position: Maintenance Mechanic Position Location: Waukesha, WI 53189 Position Hours:2nd Shift 2:00pm - 10:30pm M-F or 3rd shift 10:00pm - 6:30am Sun - Thurs 17% shift premium for 2nd shift, 13% shift premium for 3rd shift Position Wage:Starting at \$25 per hour (plus based on experience) Job Description: A Maintenance Mechanic\'s responsibilities include keeping all production machinery in a \"ready for service\" condition by performing preventative maintenance, as scheduled by our maintenance management software, as well as taking care of day-to-day maintenance issues. Principle Duties & Responsibilities: Repair & maintain all plant machinery & equipment Diagnose machine malfunctions & operating difficulties Determine need for & effect machine repairs & adjustments to maintain a reliable operation Complete minor electrical work such as motor replacement, fuse replacement, switches, etc. Ensure plant organization & cleanliness Qualifications/ Requirements: All hires are contingent upon a 9-panel hair follicle drug test & background check. High school diploma or equivalent preferred Acquire/maintain forklift certification 2+ years Prior factory work preferred Basic computer skills Basic math knowledge English reading proficiency Safety-focused mindset Excellent written & verbal communication skills Excellent time management Attention to detail Organized Adaptability Self-motivated Able to work collaboratively with others Willingness to learn & take direction Basic knowledge & skills in pneumatics, electrical, mechanics, hydraulics, rigging, equipment installation, machine rebuilding, motor & drive alignment, measuring equipment & fabrication Read blueprints Be knowledgeable of all plant equipment & procedures Physical Requirements: Proficient physical shape- able to lift 25 lbs. regularly We are committed to a policy of equal opportunity for all employees.
