Job Description

Responsibilities
Reading and applying blueprints and technical diagrams.
Using various devices, including ammeters, voltmeters, thermal scanners, and cable testers, as well as hand and power tools.
Installing or replacing wiring, lighting, electrical controls, breakers, and other electrical devices.
Inspecting and maintaining electrical systems in homes and businesses.
Adhering to state and local building regulations.
Completing work orders on time.
Documenting the work completed and materials used.
Working with other electricians, general contractors, architects, and other team members.
Other duties as assigned.
Essential Skills
5+ years of experience in the field as an Electrician.
Must have own set of hand tools. Power tools will be provided.
Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
Strong understanding of wiring, circuits, and other electrical components.
Ability to perform electrical tests, read results, and diagnose and repair electrical problems.
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
Effective time management.
Strong work ethic.
Understanding of local and national codes, regulations, and safety procedures.
Ability to read blueprints and technical documents.
Work Environment
You will work in both residential and commercial settings. The position requires the use of hand and power tools, with power tools provided. The role involves collaboration with other electricians, general contractors, architects, and team members to complete projects. Adherence to safety procedures and local and national codes is essential.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
