Job Description: As a Glazier at Northern Glass, you will be responsible for the fabrication, installation, and repair of glass products in various settings. From cutting glass to fitting and sealing windows, doors, and skylights, to installation of curtainwalls, aluminum entrances and windows, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our clients' spaces. Responsibilities: - Measure and cut glass to specified dimensions using precision tools - Install glass in windows, doors, curtain walls, and shower doors - Fabricate and install mirrors, glass shelves, and tabletops - Handle and install safety glass, tempered glass, laminated glass, and other specialized glass products - Replace or repair damaged glass components - Apply weather sealants and adhesives to ensure proper insulation and structural integrity - Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and clients to ensure project specifications are met - Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations at all times Requirements: - Proven experience as a glazier or in a related field - Proficiency in glass cutting, fixing, and installation techniques - Familiarity with a variety of glass types and products - Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications - Strong attention to detail and precision - Excellent problem-solving skills and manual dexterity - Physical stamina and ability to work at heights and in various weather conditions - Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Benefits: - Competitive salary based on experience - Health, dental, and vision insurance - Retirement savings plan with employer matching - Paid time off and holidays - Opportunities for professional development and advancement If you are passionate about craftsmanship and have the skills to excel in a dynamic work environment, we invite you to join our team at Northern Glass Company.
