Beverly Animal Shelter Assistant Manager in Waterloo, New York

Minimum Experience required: Animal experience & managerial experience

Must have experience working with animals. Ability to manage a staff of approximately 9 is a must. Part time, 20 hours per week to start: Need availability Monday-Saturday (flexible scheduling). Utilizes a variety of safety practices in handling all animals. Assists with maintenance of cages and buildings as needed. Must be able to work with customers. Major duties would be to plan, organize, and implement both retail store and animal shelter strategies; co-ordinate between dog control officers, NYS Ag & Market policies & community animal complaints. Must be computer literate. Duties to include but not limited to general office managerial skills and coordination with accountant. Represents the animal shelter as a professional.

Work Days: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (flexible days & hours)

Drivers license is required.
