Fabulous Events Delivery Driver in Waterford, Michigan
The driver is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely delivery of orders, upholding Fabulous Events quality standards, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport rental orders from the warehouse to appointed locations meeting delivery deadlines.
- Follow delivery schedules and optimize routes for efficiency.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering rentals with professionalism and courtesy.
- Verify the accuracy of delivery contents compared to rental job paperwork.
- Work with warehouse team to ensure efficient loading and unloading of delivery and pickups.
- Load and unload rental products while protecting product quality.
- Report any delivery issues or discrepancies to management promptly.
- Independently problem solve for client focused service.
- Keep an accurate record of deliveries and pickups.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and notify management of any maintenance needs.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation.
Requirements
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Ability to lift and carry 50Lbs.
- Ability to lift 5lbs and step up into and out of delivery van.
- Effective communication and customer service skills.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy on job paperwork.
- Flexibility in working hours, including weekends as needed
Preferred Requirements
- Experience as a delivery driver or similar role.
- Familiarity with local routes.
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance or ability to learn.
