TEAM UP WITH US! The Repair Technician is responsible for tear down and rebuild of a variety of valves and packing cases to meet OEM Standards. DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES? WHAT YOU'LL DO Tear down and inspect a variety of valves and packing cases. Be able to read dial calipers. Recommend solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements. Basic hand tool knowledge. Able to stand and operate a sand blaster. Basic machining knowledge. Basic shop maintenance and clean up. Other duties may be assigned. WHAT YOU'LL NEED Minimum 3 years mechanical shop/field experience. Observes safety procedures; Reports potentially unsafe conditions; Uses equipment and materials properly. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively to customers or employees of organization. Knowledge of MS Office and operate a Windows based computer. Pro-active, problem-solving individual who is able to manage a varied workload with constantly changing priorities. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
