Skyward Aviation LEARJET 31 CAPTAIN in Washington, Pennsylvania
- Operate and control aircraft along planned routes and during takeoffs and landings
- Ensure all information on the route, weather, passengers, and aircraft is received
- Engage in all aspects of aeronautical decision making
- Comply with the GOM and FARs
- Use pertinent information to create flight plans
- Keep aircraft logbook up to date
- Make regular checks on aircraft's technical performance, pre-flight safety checks on navigation and operating systems
- Direct all aspects of flight planning, documenting aircraft and operational compliance to company and government standards and regulations
- Manage emergencies and coordinate with emergency support agencies
- Liaise with and directing team interactions involving mechanics, ground crew, ATC and airport operations
- Manage a large team including flight deck crew, cabin and ground crew coordination
- Maintain proficiency throughout consistent training programmes
- Multi-task, including analysing information, prioritising problems, and achieving objectives during an ever changing, fast paced working environment
Position Requirements:
- 10 years of experience as an airline pilot
- FAA Issued Airline Transport Pilot with Multi Engine Endorsement License with no restrictions
- FAA Issued 1st Class Medical
- 3000 hours as a pilot
- 500 hours as Pilot in Command
- Experience with the US Air Space system
- Comprehensive aeronautical decision making and ability to keep calm under high pressure situations as evidenced by prior experience
- Excellent customer service and professional written and verbal communication skills as evidenced by prior experience
Travel: Exact geographic location and frequency of travel will depend on flight schedules. Flights are within Contiguous United States.
