Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Shoot, edit and deliver high quality video content for all departments
Shoot, edit and deliver extensive behind-the-scenes, social media, long-form features, TV and radio commercials, and highlight videos
Ability to organize and adhere to internal workflows so projects are easily shared
Constant development of skills and exploration of new creative techniques
Collaborate with Manager of Video Production to create and execute ideas for the team’s objectives
Produce content in a variety of styles and techniques and ensure Nationals branding is implemented throughout
Review, proof and edit content with a critical eye
Shoot, edit and deliver any projects outside of essential duties as needed
Requirements:
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in related field of study or equivalent experience
Strong experience with non-linear editing systems (Adobe Premiere)
Strong experience with interchangeable lens cameras, Sony a plus
Strong experience shooting in a cinematic style
Strong experience with manual camera settings, Sony a plus
Experience with professional lighting and audio equipment
Experience with camera support systems including sliders and gimbals
Experience with Motion Graphic programs (Adobe After Effects)
Experience with Graphic programs (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator)
NOTE: Demo Reel of relevant work required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities necessary to perform essential functions
Ability to lead projects from concept to completion
Ability to organize and adhere to internal workflows so projects are easily shared
Ability to produce and create new and exciting video and graphical content
Ability to give and receive constructive criticism on their creative work
Ability to work in fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
Ability to handle numerous tasks simultaneously
Ability to work independently
Ability to travel during Spring Training and throughout the season as needed
Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment
Must possess strong decision-making skills and be very detail oriented
Must be knowledgeable of the Nationals schedule, players, baseball statistics, rules and records
Must possess interpersonal communication skills (oral and written)
Must be able to work ALL home games
Must be able to work the extended hours of game days and specials events as scheduled
Must be comfortable interacting with high profile clients
Professional baseball and/or other professional sports production experience preferred
Physical/Environmental Requirements
Work will require weekend and evening work
Job requires employee to function in a high activity and heavily crowded outdoor professional sports venue
May work at heights
Employee will be exposed to inclement weather of varying degrees
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand for long periods of time, walk long distances and climb up/down stairs
The employee is required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or sit and must lift and/or move up to 45 pounds

Compensation:
The projected annual salary range for this position is $49,575 - $65,000 per year. Actual pay is based on several factors, including but not limited to the applicant’s: qualifications, skills, expertise, education/training, certifications, and other organization requirements. Starting salaries for new employees are frequently not at the top of the applicable salary range.
