Allegient Defense is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. We are looking to hire a Technology Transfer Specialist to support a federal contract.
Essential Job Functions
Researching the size of the market, cost of goods or pricing models.
Establishing collaborative relationships with industry.
Identifying external entities with interest in research area(s) and developing research partnerships.
Identifying technologies best commercialized by a spin-out company or startup.
Train and empower researchers to transition their discoveries into high-impact, real world technologies in the private sector, and establish a process for transferring and disseminating transportation related scientific information to stakeholders who may apply it for private and public use.
Research transition services include conducting market assessment of the state-of-the-practice, identifying gaps needed to further the subject, identification of key stakeholders, and potential challenges
Requirements
A person knowledgeable in moving research to practice relating to transportation community.
5-10 years of relevant experience experience.
Ability to work onsite.
