Autodesk is looking for a Senior Manager of Global Stock, US 401K and US Deferred Compensation Program (DCP) Administration to join our team. This position will report to our Head of Global Payroll & Stock and will be US based. This role will be embedded virtually with our globally dispersed team and be a member of a worldwide finance organization that strives to be best-in-class.
This role requires an individual who can think strategically, lead with authority, and manage a sophisticated global stock compensation program as well as oversee the administration of our US 401K plan and US DCP. The Senior Manager will play a key role in driving the success of these programs at a global scale.
This job requires execution of the below responsibilities with ownership and accountability.
Responsibilities
Lead Global Stock Administration and Compliance: Oversee all global stock administration functions, ensuring timely and accurate processing of transactions, reconciliations, audits, and reporting(s) while maintaining high standards of quality control
Owner of stock plan related filings: Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate tax and regulatory filing requirements globally including for example managing China SAFE filing and compliance process, including preparation of quarterly China SAFE filings reconcile China SAFE bank account, and application reviews
Manage US Retirement and DCP: Take full responsibility for the management of the US 401K retirement plan and DCP
Supervise Stock Transactions: Direct the handling of complex stock transactions such as new grant issuances, stock option exercises, restricted stock unit releases, and employee stock purchases through ESPP
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with senior leaders across Executives, Finance, Human Resources, Legal, and other key departments to develop and execute strategies for stock compensation and plan implementation
Tax and Payroll Coordination: Ensure seamless coordination with global payroll teams to guarantee timely reporting and remittance of taxes, while maintaining compliance across all jurisdictions including trailing compensation for mobile employees
Process Improvement and Automation Leadership: Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives, enhancing operational efficiency in global stock administration, 401K and DCP plan processes
Communication and Education Strategy: Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive communication strategies for changes to stock, 401K and DCP programs. Create educational materials to enhance employee understanding and engagement with these programs
Data Analysis and Reporting: Spearhead the preparation of advanced reports and data analysis, including employee participation, eligibility, plan performance, and cost trending to inform senior decision-making
SoX compliance and audit readiness: Oversee and act as a primary liaison with stakeholders on SOX compliance and maintain internal documentation to a high standard for audits
Minimum Qualifications
Leadership and Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in stock plan management, with a strategic mindset to solve complex global stock challenges
Educational Background: B.S. degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or related field
Extensive Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in global stock plan administration including trailing compensation for mobile employees, with a proven track record in a public company environment
In-depth Knowledge: Strong understanding of SOX compliance, internal controls, and audit processes
Advanced Automation Skills: Proficiency in identifying opportunities for automation and streamlining operations, with a focus on innovation and efficiency
Preferred Qualifications
System Expertise: Extensive experience with E*TRADE’s Client Resource Center, Equity Edge Online, or similar stock administration platforms
Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of data systems and integrations, including RPAs, Workday, and data analytics tools
Automation Tools: Advanced proficiency in automation and process optimization tools such as Alteryx and Airtable
Leadership Excellence: Proven experience leading teams and managing large-scale cross-functional projects with the ability to drive organizational change
Exceptional Analytical and Communication Skills: Strong data analysis and presentation capabilities, with the ability to clearly communicate complex information to diverse audiences
Certifications: Professional certifications such as CEP are highly preferred

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $130,800 and $211,530. Offers are based on the candidate’s experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
