FANNIE MAE Multifamily Financial Asset Management Senior Associate (Hybrid) in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Description The Senior Associate will support the Structured Asset Management team in managing risk on Credit Facilities and Bulk Deliveries. The Senior Associate will also review and resolve Borrower Requests that are submitted from our Lender Partners.

They will utilize the Multifamily Selling and Servicing Guide as a tool for analysis to make recommendations or conclusions. The Senior Associate will interact with internal and external stakeholders to gather research and provide information. They will also use the many systems where the loan data is maintained (MSFMS, DUS360 etc. ), the platforms for Borrower Requests (MAMP) and Acquisitions (DUS Gateway) and Fannie Mae MBS Securities (DUS Disclose), as well as the Delegation of Authority matrix that governs our procedures.

The Senior Associate will assist in the management of a portfolio of Structured Facilities by analyzing risk, reviewing criticized loans, assigning loan risk ratings, managing maturing loans, identifying fraud and designing and running reports for the business and senior management

The Multifamily Financial Asset Management Senior Associate (Hybrid) role will offer you the flexibility to make each day your own, while working alongside people who care so that you can deliver on the following responsibilities:

  • Support a portfolio's vision and strategic objectives.

  • Analyze portfolio progress and enact changes, along with reporting portfolio performance to key stakeholders.

  • Evaluate risk of current assets, while complying with governance and controls.

Minimum Required Experiences

  • 2 years

Skills

  • Working with people with different functional expertise respectfully and cooperatively to work toward a common goal

  • Influencing including negotiating, persuading others, facilitating meetings, and resolving conflict

  • Loan Management including classifying loans, analyzing criticized loans, managing maturities, reviewing borrower requests and identifying fraud.

  • Experience gathering accurate information to explain concepts and answer critical questions

  • Skilled in presenting information and/or ideas to an audience in a way that is engaging and easy to understand

  • Relationship Management including managing and engaging stakeholders, customers, and vendors, building relationship networks, contracting, etc.

Tools

  • Skilled in Excel

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
