DT Professional Services Lead SharePoint Engineer in Washington, District Of Columbia
Job Summary:
DT Professional Services is seeking a Lead SharePoint Engineer to support our DISA Client at one of their facilities in Washington DC area, or Norfolk, VA. We provide reliable engineering (backend support) and analytical support services including Microsoft SharePoint and Microsoft Dynamic 365 CRM platforms as a service to its customer base to host a variety of mission applications, collaboration, business intelligence, and workflows. Our team operates, maintains, assimilates, and upgrades multiple SharePoint and CRM instances. We examine and rationalize the existing content and customizations in the SharePoint production farms with the intent of migration to future generation environments.
As an Lead SharePoint Engineer you will be using cutting edge SharePoint technologies to deliver the best solutions to our clients, resolve issues, system configuration, perform upgrades, and implement changes to the environment in order to maintain the SharePoint/CRM environments. A DoD issued Secret Clearance is required. This position is Hybrid (some on client site requirements as needed).

Responsibilities:
Provide tier 3 and tier 4 technical support for on-premise SharePoint & CRM environments
Provide on-call support for high level incident and outages outside standard work hours as needed
Troubleshoot, manage, and configure IIS and SharePoint infrastructure
Facilitate and support troubleshooting of systems included but not limited to OS, SQL, Trellix (HBSS), networking, firewall, and any other components to support a fully functioning SharePoint/CRM farm
Coordinate with JSP Collaboration Teams (Service Partners) to support ATOs, updating necessary documentation, etc.
Harden and ensure security compliance of all servers by:
Patching on a recurring basis
Applying STIGS as needed (Ensure current STIG checklists are up to date and validate when new STIGs are released by DISA for SharePoint systems)
Work closely with SharePoint Architect ensure enterprise infrastructure designs adhere to DOD security requirements
Remediate IAVA findings for SharePoint and Dynamics CRM
Coordinate with ISSO, Customers, SharePoint Engineering, and underlying Service Providers for resolution of STIG, ACAS, and other identified vulnerabilities
Install, configure, and maintain on-premise SharePoint and CRM environments
Support upgrades and migrations for SharePoint & CRM
Implement SP governance in coordination with the Governance Manager
Provide input for Weekly and Monthly Reports
Engage with the F5 team to configure the F5 load balancer to allow high availability and continued operation of SharePoint and Dynamics CRM
Submit and track change request, incidents & work orders as needed and work with service partners to resolve
Participate in Change Board meetings as necessary
Resolve incident & work order tickets related to SharePoint/CRM infrastructure
Provide ADHOC SharePoint/CRM infrastructure related reports as needed
Maintain and peer review on periodic basis of internal Engineering assets like master server list, script repository, etc.
Maintain supporting infrastructure documentation
Maintain and track application-level certificates for all SharePoint/CRM farms on NIPR/SIPR
Maintain, troubleshoot, monitor, and improve SharePoint and CRM databases in adherence with MS best practices and procedures
Work with custom development team to deploy solutions to on-prem SharePoint/CRM farms
Lead and supervise DISA JSP Engineer team
Basic Qualifications:
An active DoD issued Secret Clearance
Security+ certificate or equivalent
5+ years of infrastructure/system engineering experience
Experience with SharePoint 2013 & 2019
Familiarity with SharePoint Online and CRM systems
General CRM/Platform/Server migration experience
Demonstrated ability to synthesize business requirements into system functionality within the CRM/Platform and SharePoint framework
General experience with CRM/SharePoint farm and site configuration
General knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, group policy, LAN/WAN, IP addresses, and SQL server administration to complete a variety of projects
Troubleshooting experience, working through various technical issues related to SharePoint or dependencies
Microsoft or FedVTE certification focused on Server OS, SharePoint, or CRM
The desire to gain or use extra-curricular certifications as part of ongoing professional growth
Supervisory or Lead experience is required to be considered for this role
Excellent communications skills, both written and oral
Excellent organizational and time management skills; ability to work independently and solve problems

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or Engineering
Experience with migration tools such as AvePoint DocAve & Fly
Experience with O365 services and migrations
Acquired Microsoft certifications, especially MCSE. Ability to support a Dynamics Office 365 environment (on-premise)
Experience with monitoring tools like Splunk
Experience with disaster recovery efforts for IT
Cyber Security Technical Engineering Support to SharePoint
2 years of experience in support of DoD environment
A good understanding of DoD mission and business practices
The compensation range for this position: $140,000 - $160,000 annually.
