Junior Business Management Analyst (15.22)

OCT Consulting, LLC is an SBA-certified, 8(a) small business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.

Responsibilities and Duties

OCT currently has an opening for a Junior Business Management Analyst to work with our federal client. This position will be responsible for providing business analysis, process improvement, and strategic planning support for systems and operations, focusing on roadmap development, enterprise dashboards, and data management. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Assist with maintenance of the project status dashboard

  • Collect and organize data for enterprise data call responses

  • Support roadmap development with research and documentation

  • Help prepare business analysis documentation and reports

  • Track project milestones and update project status information

  • Assist with meeting coordination and documentation

  • Prepare presentation materials for leadership briefings

  • Help maintain documentation repository and reference materials

  • Support performance metric collection and preliminary analysis

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field

  • 1-3 years of experience in business analysis or administrative support

  • Familiarity with federal IT systems and processes preferred

  • Strong organizational and data management skills

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint

  • Attention to detail and ability to follow established procedures

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Must be a US Citizen

Salary Range: $65,000-85,000 per year commensurate with experience, education, etc.
