Actalent Electrical Engineer in Washington, District Of Columbia

Job Title: Electrical EngineerJob Description

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in project management, electrical systems design, and compliance with NEC building codes. This role involves leading a team, interacting with clients, and ensuring quality assurance and control of designs created by junior engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage electrical engineering projects from inception to completion.

  • Interact with clients to understand project requirements and provide updates.

  • Design various electrical systems ensuring compliance with NEC building codes.

  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control of designs created by junior engineers.

  • Lead and manage a team of engineers.

  • Create and review construction documents.

  • Utilize Revit and AutoCAD for electrical design tasks.

Essential Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • 7+ years of relevant experience.

  • Proficiency in Revit and AutoCAD.

  • Experience with building design projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Strong project management skills.

  • Ability to lead and manage a team.

  • Excellent communication and client interaction skills.

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $200000.00/yr.
