Adecco US, Inc. Distribution Supervisor in Washington, District Of Columbia
Adecco Permanent Recruitment is working on behalf of its client in Washington DC to identify candidates for the role of Distribution Supervisor.
You will
Ensure that fulfilment activities meet/exceed targets
Track deliveries and reconcile sales and stock reports
Identify process gaps and issues and recommend processes to improve efficiency and productivity.
Maintain daily reports (stock levels, orders, status, last-mile, KPIs …)
Work with last mile partners to ensure established processes and timelines are met, and resolve any issues, as necessary
Deliver customer satisfaction and partner with customer service team to address any issues or requirements
Monitor all open orders and backlog to ensure thorough follow-up with customer service team and update them of issues or delays
Work with other departments to ensure physical inventory count meets demand
Maintain an accurate inventory with daily checks and regular stock takes
Audit inventory through regular cycle counts, as required
Supervise and train staff on fulfilment, delivery, company policy and procedure
Monitor productivity and drive continuous improvements
Monitor workload and request additional staffing needs to support seasonal demand
“Housekeeping”
Ensure the warehouse is well maintained and secure
Manage the supplies required, maintaining proper levels and reorder as required
Complete all paperwork/ logs required
Properly place trash, empty cardboard, and pallets in storage areas
Ensure collection point is well managed and clearly marked which parcels are ready for collection
Completing requisitions for inventory and supplies
You have
Experience in warehouse operations with the ability to build and lead a high performing team
Excellent organization and problem solving, leadership and communication skills
Ability to manage external relationships and build strategic partnerships
Organizational and time management skills and the ability to multi-task
Proven success in the ability to lead, build, develop processes
Experience with last mile vendors

Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $65,000.00 per year
