Meta Cross-regional Ethics & Compliance Program Manager in Washington, District Of Columbia

Summary:

As a Cross-regional Ethics & Compliance Program Manager at Meta, you will be an integral part of the Regional Ethics & Compliance (REC) team within the Corporate Compliance & Ethics organization. In this role, you will collaborate with various teams across Meta, including compliance, legal, finance, sales, public policy, partnerships, and more. Your primary responsibilities will include supporting REC team programs and initiatives, driving first-line compliance enablement across Meta, and providing compliance support to key business initiatives. Additionally, you will manage several NORAM, multi-regional, and global compliance requests, support NORAM and global compliance-related initiatives, and serve as the Compliance & Ethics ambassador to some business groups.

Required Skills:

Cross-regional Ethics & Compliance Program Manager Responsibilities:

  1. Manage and review multi-regional and global compliance requests, providing central support to the regional Ethics & Compliance managers.

  2. Manage, respond, and coordinate requests and inquiries received through the Compliance & Ethics Hub, connecting and partnering with the right legal and compliance points-of-contact for case resolution.

  3. Help the regional Ethics & Compliance manager in NORAM develop and execute ethics and compliance initiatives across the region, including measures to drive compliance with the Code of Conduct, Anti-Corruption Policy, Competition Compliance Policy, and other relevant compliance policies.

  4. Maintain and scale the existing Compliance Champions Network in NORAM, including outreach, onboarding, management, and training initiatives.

  5. Act as the Compliance & Ethics ambassador to strategic business groups.

  6. Support key Corporate Compliance & Ethics objectives and requirements by maintaining and continuously improving team-led Compliance Programs.

  7. Partner with other compliance stakeholders and cross-functional teams on projects for first-line of defense enablement, Compliance Program enhancements, and overall compliance education (e.g., Annual Required Training, Code of Conduct).

  8. Work with the appropriate compliance and legal teams to develop and implement remediation measures identified as an outcome of global investigations, ad-hoc matters, CMRA (Country Managing Risk Assessments), transaction monitoring, etc.

  9. Track and follow up on the progress of team-led programs and initiatives in all regions, providing central support to the regional Ethics & Compliance managers, and preparing reports with relevant metrics to inform program changes and improvements.

  10. Work with the Compliance & Ethics Learning Programs team to develop a global annual calendar of engagements and global compliance-related enablement initiatives (e.g., Ethics Weeks, regional activations Annual Required Training, Compliance Champion education).

  11. Project manage special projects and support other compliance program initiatives focused on emerging Meta priorities.

  12. Help to manage and monitor team budget and expenses, contracts, contingent worker structure, and vendor on-boarding.

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 5+ years of experience working with compliance programs (e.g., anti-corruption, privacy, Anti-Money Laundering or integrity programs)

  2. Proven track record of developing or implementing compliance programs

  3. Project management and reporting skills, including experience with related tooling

  4. Experience working cross-functionally with multiple geographies and employees of diverse backgrounds, including communicating in a clear and jargon-free fashion

  5. Attention to detail

  6. Work Proficiency in English

Public Compensation:

$90,000/year to $137,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
