Innovation Horizons Business Analyst - Healthcare Innovation in Washington, District Of Columbia

Location: Remote (DC and surrounding area based) with necessary on-site visits throughout the month

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 per year depending on experience

Travel Requirement: Up to 10% travel

Position Description:

As a Business Analyst at Innovation Horizons, you will be responsible for spearheading projects that aim to advance healthcare and related business services including housing, and social services programs. The role requires an individual with experience in project oversight, analytic skills, strategic stakeholder engagement, and understanding of regulatory market requirements. Exceptional writing and interpersonal skills aimed at consensus building, requirements development, and timeline management. Adept with software applications (Microsoft and Adobe tools), building summary presentations that include educational and training materials.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Management: Oversee projects from planning to execution, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Coordinate project milestones and timelines. Develop progress reports. Stakeholder Management: Develop and nurture relationships with all stakeholders for clear communication and alignment with project objectives. Client Engagement: Work directly with clients and healthcare professionals to ensure service satisfaction and address project-related concerns. Timely Delivery: Ensure all projects adhere to set timelines and budget constraints. Data-Driven Improvements: Utilize data analysis to drive continuous improvement and inform project strategies for optimal healthcare delivery. Team Leadership: Lead and inspire project teams, ensuring efficient task delegation and monitoring to meet project targets. Quality Assurance: Manage quality control processes to maintain project standards and meet client expectations. Budget Oversight: Develop and monitor project budgets, ensuring financial discipline. Regulatory Awareness: Maintain current knowledge of healthcare laws and regulations affecting project compliance. Communication: Exhibit strong communication abilities to clearly convey project information to all stakeholders, including leadership, team members, and clients.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in administration, business, management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of leading projects that emphasize innovation, new business concepts, uses of technology and data.
  • General understanding of policy regulations and compliance standards.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, leadership, and organizational skills. -Competent in delivering needs assessments, gap analyses, change management and training solutions.
  • Proficiency in project and time management, as well as problem-solving capabilities.
