Job Overview
The Admissions Officer supports all functions of J.D. and Graduate admissions at the Georgetown University Law Center. The work associated with this team serves to advise parents and applicants about their educational plans and provide clarity on the admissions process at the Law Center.
They are responsible for aspects of recruitment, application processing, enrollment, decision selection processing, tracking and reporting, interviews, wait listing, scholarships, and admissions events and programs.
While maintaining liaison with all organizations and individuals involved in the admissions process, they communicate via print, email, and phone correspondence and process applications, produce reports, and evaluate data.
Work Interactions
Reporting directly to the Manager of J.D. or Graduate Admissions Operations, the Admissions Officer directly supports the Office of Admissions' mission by providing premiere customer service, timely correspondence, strong analysis, and technology expertise as this team sets the impression for both prospective and admitted students at the Law Center.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
3 years of relevant experience
Familiarity with Microsoft Office, the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies, and advanced administrative skills
Ability to juggle various tasks and manage multiple, often conflicting deadlines simultaneously
Preferred qualification
Experience with Banner Student Information System and relevant CRM software(s)
