VISTRADA Cloud Administrator in Washington DC, District Of Columbia
Job Posting: Cloud Administrator (Intermediate Level)
Vistrada is seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Cloud Administrator to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing our cloud computing systems. This position is at the Intermediate level, and we are looking for candidates with a strong background in cloud technologies and system administration.
Position: Cloud Administrator Level: Intermediate
Personnel Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Statistics, or Mathematics is highly desired.
Experience with DevOps methods and practices.
One or more of the following or its equivalent:
Hadoop/Cloud System Administrator Certification or comparable Cloud System/Service Certification is required.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or AWS Certified Developer Associate certification preferred.
Capabilities:
Experience writing software scripts using scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, or Python.
Demonstrated fundamental understanding and working knowledge of core components of the Linux operating system, including the management of user and group accounts in LDAP configuration of DHCP, DNS, and TFTP.
Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting large scale cloud computing systems, including familiarity with distributed systems for storage and retrieval of data.
Strong experience with Linux and/or Windows systems administration.
Some programming experience, applicable to developing cloud management tools (one or more of Bourne/bash shell, ruby, python, perl).
Demonstrated experience with configuration management tools.
Understanding of the end-to-end Linux PXE/Network provisioning process.
Familiarity with managing continuous integration tools.
Experience with Active Directory and Active Directory Federation Services.
Understanding of overall corporate architecture as well as familiarity with OpenSSL and Java keystore manipulation.
