H2 Performance Consulting (H2) is seeking an AV Engineer/AMX Programmer.

The AV Engineer/AMX Programmer responsibilities will include:

• Apply the current infrastructure expertise in supporting video teleconferencing (VTC) and collaborative Audiovisual (AV) efforts using Microsoft Teams.
• Support VTC and AV with cabling, equipment installations, and configuration, supporting pulling and running cables for new equipment installation.
• Interpret blueprints, installation instructions, or various user guides to install and configure a new VTC and AV environment.
• Provide customer insight into their network through monitoring and performance management. Use technical expertise to identify problem areas and opportunities for improvement in mission-critical network.
• Provide customer support for highly visible VTC and AV operations and troubleshooting efforts.
• Ensure the customer's events are monitored and resolve conference interruptions as soon as possible.
• Troubleshoot and repair multimedia equipment and data cabling, including ceiling-mounted video projectors, wall control switches, cable patch panels, speakers, powered screens, consoles, and multimedia equipment.
• Diagnose and repair equipment issues escalated to Tier III, sustain the IT and AV support for all daily operation and maintenance of the AV and administrator for Microsoft Teams Live events for Auditorium events.

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience with VTC and Audiovisual Systems, including Camera Recording.
• Fluent with AMX programming.
• Experience with Cisco and Polycom IP VTC systems endpoints, AMX, Extron, Crestron, or Cisco control systems and switches programming.
• Experience and knowledgeable on troubleshooting common VTC equipment and collaborative AV efforts such as MS Teams, Cisco Room kits, and Tandbergs.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• HS diploma or GED.

• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to complete assignments and projects effectively in a timely manner.
• Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where no day is ever the same.
• CompTIA Security+ Certification.
