The primary responsibilities of this role encompass a variety of tasks crucial to the construction process. These include laying block and brick, as well as constructing scaffolds to support ongoing work. Additionally, the role entails the preparation of mortar mixtures and maintaining a clean and orderly worksite through general cleanup and labor duties.  Bricklayers are tasked with precision in their work. They must accurately measure and layout projects, utilizing specialized tools such as2- and 4- foot levelers to ensure the proper alignment of corners. Furthermore, they are responsible for the construction of various project components, including windows, doors, and other openings within structures. Another important aspect of the job involves working with flashing materials. Flashing installation involves attaching components within the wall cavity to facilitate the drainage of water that may accumulate behind the masonry layers. This process is vital for preventing moisture-related damage, particularly around doors and windows, necessitating careful and accurate.  Safety is paramount on this role, with attendance at a work safety orientation. This orientation covers various safety protocols and procedures to ensure the well-being of all workers. Additionally, individuals in this position must undergo training to acquire the necessary qualifications for the job; Part of the responsibilities also include overseeing the constructions of block walls and the erection of concrete and bricks structures. This involved coordinating with other team members and utilizing standard masonry tools such as hammers, rulers, jointers, 2- and 4- foot levels, and tape measures to achieve the desired results with precision and efficiency.
