Robert Half Procurement Manager in Warwick, Rhode Island

Description We are looking to bring a Procurement Manager into our team based in Warwick, Rhode Island. The individual will work in a dynamic environment where they will be responsible for managing and optimizing procurement processes. This role involves a variety of tasks, including creating and managing requests for proposals, coordinating with different departments, and maintaining procurement records.

Responsibilities:

• Develops and manages requests for bids, proposals, and qualifications.

• Collaborates with various departments to outline the scope of services for proposals.

• Utilizes various procurement methods to balance cost and quality, providing the best value for the organization.

• Coordinates with other offices to ensure all solicitations are effectively communicated to the public.

• Conducts vendor outreach for procurements and responds to queries from staff and contractors regarding policies and procedures.

• Oversees the solicitation, negotiation, award, administration, renewal, and termination of contracts post selection committee review.

• Prepares necessary contract documents, secures approvals and maintains copies of executed contracts.

• Manages contract administration until contract expiration dates.

• Maintains a comprehensive database of existing contracts and upcoming solicitations.

• Ensures compliance with federal and state procurement guidelines.

• Handles other matters generally related to Procurement. Requirements • Proven expertise in 3M, a crucial tool for procurement management.

• Solid experience using Coupa for streamlining procurement processes.

• Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) to maintain and improve customer relationships.

• Demonstrable knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning to manage daily business activities.

• Familiarity with various ERP Solutions to ensure effective resource management.

• Experience with About Time for managing, tracking, and controlling job costs.

• Understanding of budget processes to monitor and control costs.

• Knowledge of buying processes to ensure efficient procurement.

• Exceptional customer service skills to address client needs and concerns.

• Ability to manage invoices effectively and efficiently.
