Job Title: Welder Combination
Job Description
The Welder Combination classification will follow standard welding procedures and techniques to optimize Flux Cored Arc, Stick, MIG, TIG, and plasma welding processes on steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and nickel materials. The position is for 1st shift, from 6:30 am to 3:00 pm.
Responsibilities
Follow standard welding procedures and techniques.
Optimize Flux Cored Arc, Stick, MIG, TIG, and plasma welding processes.
Work with steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and nickel materials.
Use hand tools such as angle grinders.
Pass MIG and TIG weld tests.
Cut, trim, and bend metal objects to specified dimensions.
Work on Spinners.
Perform welding on pipes and duplex materials.
Handle pressure boiler welding tasks.
Read and interpret blueprints and use measuring tools.
Essential Skills
Experience with MIG, TIG, Stick welding, and Flux Core welding.
Proficiency in working with 316 and 430 stainless steel.
Ability to handle hand tools like angle grinders.
Mechanical inclination.
English comprehension: Ability to read, write, and communicate.
Ability to handle light and average weight parts.
Ability to use hand and power tools.
Ability to listen and learn from instructions.
Cooperation and participation in the department's training program.
Ability to work safely.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Flexibility with assignment changes needed to fulfill production needs.
Participation in “6S” daily.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a group.
