Emerson System Integration Engineer in Warsaw, Poland

We have a great opportunity for a System Integration Engineer to join our team in Warsaw, Poland!

As a System Integration Engineer, you'll join a diverse community and work as a member of one of our multi-functional agile teams responsible for the development of DeltaV.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Enhance Development Team Efficiency: Use the lab environment to its full potential to optimize development team effectiveness. Maintain DeltaV equipment and systems in a perpetual state of readiness for immediate use.

  • Champion Development Environment Improvement: Collaborate with the development group to continuously improve development processes and the lab environment, particularly regarding its use and upkeep.

  • Foster Collaboration and Innovation: Cultivate a creative atmosphere, provide detailed feedback on colleagues' work, and actively participate in agile activities like sprint planning and retrospectives. Engage in Hackathons, Tech Talks, and Communities of Practice to connect with like-minded individuals.

  • Increasing the Effectiveness: Identifying hardware and systems needs for use when integrating new features into the lab to ensure all new features work together in the production environment. Collaborate with scrum teams on feature test coverage plans.

  • Additional Responsibilities: Perform other supervisor-assigned tasks that align with the nature and type of work associated with this position.

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation or related engineering field and 2+ years of related experience or a master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Automation or related engineering field and 1+ years of related experience.

  • Experience with testing application software and/or embedded firmware products.

  • Good fundamental electrical knowledge.

  • English B2.

  • Polish B2.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Distributed Control System (DCS) Expertise: Experience with DeltaV or other DCS platforms.

  • Test Automation Proficiency: Experience with test automation frameworks and scripting languages.

  • Process Control Industry Knowledge: Prior experience in the process control industry (a plus).
