We are looking for a Magento Developer to join the P&G global B2B eCommerce team. You will engage in substantial work that is critical for P&G business and has a real impact on our employees and most of all on P&G customers. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Architects, Engineering Leads, and Development Teams to design and develop the most innovative aspects of our program. While doing it you will have the opportunity to grow the technical competency of the B2B eCommerce team.

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and English proficiency

  • Hands-on Magento 2 experience and be proficient with Magento native features and respective configurations

  • Have experience integrating Magento with other applications/tools

  • Understanding of Composer

  • Good programming skills in PHP 7 including major PHP frameworks: Laminas, Laravel or Symphony

  • MySQL database knowledge and mySQL optimization experience

  • Experience with GIT version control systems

  • Understanding of web services (REST, SOAP, XML-RPC)

  • Experience with high-load systems with a specialization in system monitoring and optimization

  • Experience in the Web Server stack is highly beneficial: Apache, NGINX, HAProxy, Varnish, Redis

  • Solid experience in coding and maintaining web applications

  • Familiarity with good object-oriented programming practices and Clean Code rules

  • Experience of working according to Agile Methodology

  • Up-to-date knowledge of UI/UX concepts and trends for eCommerce solutions

  • Self-motivated, proactive, and good at working in an environment with limited supervision.

  • Capability of estimating/forecasting time to complete specified project tasks

  • Willingness to travel (up to 15%) in support of key customer project breakthroughs

  • Ability to explain and present concepts to technical and non-technical audiences alike, including high-level decision-makers

  • Ability to demonstrate effective communication and conflict resolution skills, while maintaining a positive demeanor towards customer success

Nice to have

  • Experience of working with CDN’s

  • Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS for front-end development

  • Experience in setting up Magento hosting at Azure Cloud

  • Solid foundation in DBMS (e.g., MySQL)

  • Experience using debugger tools such as xDebug or Zend Debugger

  • Adept in building and architecting large-scale server applications in a distributed environment

  • Knowledge of DevOps (e.g. CICD, Webhooks)

  • Experience with Magento PWA studio
