Low Voltage Solutions Architect Engineer - Data Centre
This position can be based in multiple locations, e.g. Austria, Turkey, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, the Netherlands, Ireland or the UK.
What you’ll do:
This position is responsible for providing up to level 3 (advanced) system technical support to commercial organizations for Low voltage systems with particular attention to Low voltage system assemblies, governed by IEC61439 or alike in Industrial and data centre segments.
You will be the Electro-Technical systems specialist (customer solution architect level) and build Low voltage system application expertise that supports the achieving of the segment strategic plans
Provide Level 3 (advanced) technical support to commercial organizations on Low voltage systems across designated segments
Liaise with product line management and product application experts, R&D on codes and standards, and provide documented answers to commercial organizations
Work with commercial entities to prepare responses to requests for quotes, and provide expertise beyond their skills in design, quote optimization and de-risking activities
Early design projects support and evaluation of design proposals
Provide engineered proposals focused on Eaton's solutions to optimize design for the clients
Support at customer meetings, virtual and face to face (when required)
Act as the "technical conduit" between commercial organizations and the design and bid team for Low voltage systems
Support on completion of CDE (compliance, deviation and exception) project documentation for Low voltage systems
Qualifications and Skills:
University degree in electrical engineering or equivalent education
3-5 years of experience with Low voltage systems
Data Centre Professional Certification (CDCP) would be beneficial
Segment systems based application knowledge with a bias to Data centre's and industrial applications
Familiar with electrical design tools and software (EPLAN or similar)
Fluent Business English is required, knowledge of other European language(s) is an advantage
Good communication and presentation skills
Self-motivated and results-driven
