Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced JDE Security Analyst to join our organization. As a JDE Security Analyst, you will be responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of a robust security framework for our JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE) system. Your expertise and in-depth knowledge of JDE security will be instrumental in safeguarding our system and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and resources.

What you will do:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive JDE security strategy in line with industry best practices and compliance requirements.

  • Perform risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and develop mitigation strategies to address them effectively.

  • Design, configure, and maintain JDE user roles, security profiles, and access controls based on business needs and segregation of duties (SoD) principles.

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust JDE security controls, including role-based access controls (RBAC), user provisioning, authentication mechanisms, and encryption methods

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and enforce JDE security policies, procedures, and guidelines.

  • Conduct regular audits and monitoring activities to identify any security gaps or violations, and initiate appropriate corrective actions.

  • Provide technical guidance and support to internal teams, including system administrators, developers, and end users, on JDE security-related matters.

  • Participate in incident response activities, including investigating and resolving security incidents or breaches, and implementing measures to prevent future occurrences.

  • Develop and deliver security awareness and training programs to educate JDE system users on security best practices.

  • Maintain documentation of JDE security configurations, procedures, and guidelines to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

What you need:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in JDE administration, preferably in a complex enterprise environment.

  • Strong knowledge of JD Edwards EnterpriseOne security concepts, including role-based access control (RBAC), user provisioning, and SoD. (desire)

  • Extensive experience with JDE security administration tools and utilities, such as Security Workbench, User Administration, and Object Management Workbench. (desire)

  • Familiarity with relevant industry standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, or COBIT.

  • Proficiency in conducting risk assessments, vulnerability scanning, and penetration testing in the JDE environment.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex security issues and provide practical solutions.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate security concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Professional certifications in JDE security administration (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional) and/or cybersecurity (e.g., CISSP, CISM) are highly desirable.
