LifePoint Health MRI Technologist - PRN in Warrenton, Virginia
The MRI Technologist performs various imaging procedures in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. The MRI Technologist operates specialized equipment (MRI scanner) to create cross-sectional image scans of patients to help doctors diagnose and treat illness or disease. The MRI Technologist interacts directly with patients and may administer intravenous injections of contract dyes.

Minimum Education □ Graduate from an Accredited Program in one or more medical imaging modalities as described below.
Minimum Work Experience Preferred - 1 years of experience as a registered technologist in the appropriate modality
Required Skills Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
Required Skills Certifications: X Basic Life Support (BLS) X Certified/licensed in good standing with appropriate professional registry

• MRI: Must be ARRT ( Or become ARRT MRI Registered within 12 mos. of hire)
