System One Engineering Manager in Warrendale, Pennsylvania

Objective

An experienced Engineering Manager is needed to lead our multidisciplinary engineering team in developing and adapting premium architectural products for the North American market. This role will oversee all engineering functions from product development through manufacturing, ensuring quality standards and regulatory compliance while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, and supervise an engineering team covering various engineering disciplines

  • Ensure on-time, efficient, and profitable completion of engineering projects

  • Adapt product designs to meet North American market specifications and regulatory requirements

  • Provide technical solutions and support to internal departments and external customers

  • Drive product quality initiatives, generate and monitor quality-related KPIs

  • Support custom projects from quotation through implementation stages

  • Develop efficient assembly procedures, tools, and documentation

  • Partner with leadership to establish company goals, strategies, and tactics

  • Oversee product safety certifications and performance testing

  • Manage new product introductions and ensure timely, on-budget product launches

    Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering; related engineering disciplines will be considered

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, with leadership experience

  • Experience with product development and manufacturing process optimization

  • Strong understanding of design and fabrication processes

  • Proficiency with CAD software

  • Knowledge of product safety standards and certification processes

  • Experience implementing manufacturing improvement principles

  • Excellence in cross-functional collaboration and project management

  • Strong technical problem-solving abilities and attention to detail

    Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in architectural or construction product manufacturing

  • Knowledge of relevant industry technologies

  • Experience adapting international product designs for North American markets

  • Familiarity with product testing and certification requirements

  • Experience with technical documentation

  • Strong communication skills to interface with clients and international team members
