Job Description:

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Must have 4+ years of actual experience (not looking for new graduates).
  • Must be Michigan local to go onsite for collaboration.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

  • Work as an integral member within the Clientto support the development of retail strategy.
  • Support their managerby developing analytical solutions to improve business results.
  • Pursue problem identification and impact across large vehicle populations using data mining, predictive modeling, simulation, and visualization techniques.
  • Perform hands-on analysis, search pattern design, mining automation development, and data reduction execution.

``` - Mentor others to develop analytical skill sets throughout the organization. - Maintain the latest knowledge in software and hardware products or services, trends, and identify the best solutions to meet business requirements. - Establish strong working relationships with peer teams to review requirements/problem areas and apply appropriate statistical techniques. - Drive the collection of new data and refine existing data sources. - Develop best practices for instrumentation and experimentation and communicate them to peer teams. - Support Complex Event Processing and Real-Time Event Processing in the context of Big Data. - Act as the subject matter expert for Data Analytics, ensuring alignment with industry best practices.

Basic Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience using data to solve problems, answer questions, and create visualizations.
  • 4+ years of experience in data quality analysis and data architecture.
  • 4+ years of professional development experience.
  • 4+ years of experience in Big Data technologies (Hadoop/Hive/Spark) using Python/Scala.
  • Master's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Economics, Physics, Computer Science, or other STEM fields preferred (Bachelor's degree acceptable).

Preferred Skills/Qualifications:

  • Experience in the auto industry (preferred but not required).
  • Proficiency in R (helpful) and Python (required).
  • Strong math background.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with electrical, thermal, or chemical virtual modeling and simulation.
  • Proficiency with Inca and/or Puma.
  • Calibration and/or development experience.
  • Outstanding data-driven decision-making history.
  • Analytical ability for unusual and difficult problems.
  • Familiarity with laboratory operations and test equipment.
  • Experience with RESS (battery) durability and safety testing.
  • Working knowledge of Li-Ion Battery cells, modules, and batteries.
  • Experience in Vehicle or System-Level Calibration, ICE or Conventional Transmission Development or Validation, Instrumentation & Test Automation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of reliability and durability calculations.
  • Adaptability and ability to manage changing priorities.

Preferred Work Schedule:Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM Hybrid Role
