Job Summary
Primary responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, pulling seed, providing carts of seed to supply production, seed receiving and seed return in a safe and efficient manner.
Location: Corporate Office - Warminster, Pa
Key Responsibilities:
Seed Pull
Operate lift truck in Assembly and seed warehouse.
Pull seed using a pull sheet.
Transfer electronically (RF) seed to staging location.
Stack seed by the case or sleeve on the pallet attached to lift truck.
Bring seed to staging area.
Retrieve seed for jobs on lines and replenishment areas, electronically transfer.
Consolidation of seed warehouse and replenishment areas.
Operate pallet jack as needed.
Maintain a clean work area.
Seed Receiving
Receive and relocate seed packets from the seed packet staging location, utilizing the RF handheld unit, into the seed packet warehouse holding locations.
Perform Quality control checks using RF handheld unit.
Maintain packet receipt move tickets in an organized fashion.
Other job duties
Fill seed carts using a cart diagram.
Physically relocate seed carts from staging area to Assembly lines.
Retrieve seed for line leads if a shortage occurs and electronically transfer utilizing RF hand-held unit..
Remove empty carts from Assembly lines as needed.
Consolidation of seed warehouse and replenishment areas.
Operate pallet jack as needed.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Experience on the cherry picker or stand-up forklift. We will provide the forklift certification for the right candidate.
Must have basic math and computer skills.
Must read and speak English, bilingual is a plus
Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Requires standing, kneeling and lifting up to 8 hours per day.
